I really loved the idea behind the design of the SYMFONISK speaker + light combination by IKEA but I was not convinced with the design. Because of this I did not buy the light and ask myself the question: ‘How does the light must look like before I would purchase it?’ This question resulted in this personal project and It took two weeks to complete. The main focus of the project was not the technical aspect of the design but purely focus on the shapes and proportions of the product as the original product shows that the technique is possible.
Had an idea for a minimalistic shed house and turned that idea into a 3D model in as an architectural exterior exercise. Modelled and rendered in Blender.

Början is the Swedish word for ‘beginning’. This suited the project perfectly as this was the first design project that I’ve done after I decided to quit my job as an account manager to pursue my dream as becoming an creative professional. This was a personal project where I’ve set a time limit for two weeks. In this two weeks I’ve challenged myself to design a lounge chair from scratch up towards a collection of final renders that will show the meaning and purpose of the product.
I’ve downloaded an awesome 3D model by Sharifi Ayat and used it as an automotive lighting study in Blender. Lighting, shading and postprocessing done by me.
As an exercise in product rendering I tried to replicate the official product rendering of the Xbox Series X controller by Microsoft in Blender. The model was downloaded from Dimensiva.com so I could focus on the studio lighting and the materials.
